Maurice "Mo" Owens - CEO

Shaped and molded from the harsh inner-city of Southside Chicago, Mo decided to make the Las Vegas Valley home in the early 1990's and carried with him large aspirations. During his early days in Vegas, he excelled in the field of automobile sales among those who eventually became visual icons of the industry. Mo is considered a "marketing visionary" because of his ability to see beyond the big picture." He has successfully launched and served on the executive management team of several companies, headed investment clubs and managed portfolios for clients that exceeded $30 million, in addition to personally generating several million dollars in net sales. As a former athlete, Mo has successfully parlayed relationships he established in sports and commerce into viable business opportunities. He has owned and operated businesses and has served as an equity investor in several successful enterprises. He is fast to admit that one of these ventures had a unique closeness to his heart; a jazz nightclub dubbed One Mo Time, in 1998. His acute passion for jazz is prevalent as he hopes to open another club like it at sometime in the future. At present, his focus is on the projects at-hand. Mo takes pride in admitting that he incorporates many of the values and principles he acquired through earlier professional, volunteer, and community activities into his present endeavors.

Robert H. "Bob" Fain III - COO & VP for Operations

Bob holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Tennessee, with additional coursework at Ohio University. He worked as an administrator in higher education at major universities for over twenty years and served on the board of directors for corporations and the governing boards of professional organizations. He subsequently formed his own company, Patco International Wholesalers, Inc., which manufactured hair care products for export to Latin America, Africa and Europe. Before assuming partnership with EQ Labs Inc., Bob consulted for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Research Foundation, overseeing the technology management program and serving on the management boards of the institution's joint venture start-up companies. His knowledge and insight has proven invaluable to EQ Labs. Bob has been instrumental in building an excellent company infrastructure while helping transform EQ Smart Energy Drink into a recognizable brand on a global level.

Marvin Cole - CFO & Vice President of Distribution

A resident of Las Vegas,  NV since August 1983, Marvin is responsible for orchestrating all logistical operations of the company and shares a critical role involving the science, makeup and substance of the product and its packaging. His tireless attention to detail and methodical thought process enables the company to operate at its most efficient capacities. Additionally, Marvin has executive oversight for supervision of warehouse staff, maintenance of the warehouse, inventory of products and advertisement supplies, and served in the same capacity for ThemBoyz Network, LLC. Marvin employed 15 people for Jantae Appraisal, Inc., an appraisal firm from 1993 to 1998. He also owns and operates Premier Appraisal Service and Property Inspection as a State Certified real estate appraiser in Las Vegas. He is proud of being married for 25 years and the father of two daughters.

Darryl Rouson, VP of Legal Affairs

Rouson - a decorated and accomplished gentleman from Tampa FL - serves as VP for Legal Affairs for EQ Labs Inc. facilitating the legal activities of the company. A Senior Partner of Rouson & Associates, P.A. in St. Petersburg Florida, he has also served as the President of the Fred Minnis Bar Association.  In addition to his law practice, Atty. Rouson serves as the elected State Representative in the Florida House of Representatives for District 55, Pinellas, Manatee, Sarasota and Hillsborough Counties.     Darryl has worked as a prosecutor in Pinellas, FL who has advanced the causes of a variety of governmental, political, and community organizations. Among these are his memberships on the transition team of Florida Governor Charlie Crist; as a State Constitutional Officer on the Florida Tax and Budget Reform Commission; and, as Chairman of the Substance Abuse & Addiction Task Force for the National Bar Association. His memberships include but are not limited to the Florida Bar Association, the National Bar Association, and the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Darryl holds degrees from Xavier University, and the University of Florida Law School.

Michael A.N. Villa Jr. - Director of Sales

A native of Las Vegas, NV, Mike earned a diploma from North Las Vegas’ Rancho High School and also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Following a baseball career which culminated at the semi-pro level, he resumed his entrepreneurial career (which began at age 13 working at a pay-phone business) by helping launch several business enterprises in the sports, automobile, and real estate industries. His most recent company, Seven Figures, Inc., of which he served as part-owner and president, was very instrumental in developing relationships and accounts with leading distributors and buyers for EQ Smart Energy Drink®. Mike's unwavering focus continues to be developing and managing the sales goals of the company. Mike’s optimism that success is inevitable is reflected in his statement:  “I feel extremely fortunate to be involved with [not only] a superior product which provides optimal value to its consumers, but more importantly, colleagues who possess sincere character, love and compassion for the company and its goals, which are rare attributes. Keith A. Beall - Director of Publicity, Promotions and Events Coordination

Also a native of Las Vegas, NV, Keith attended Bonanza High School, the College of Southern Nevada and studied Business Law at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, CA. As a pitcher, Keith enjoyed a brief stint as a professional baseball prospect. Upon his departure from baseball, he decided to enter the business arena because he felt there was a strong correlation between the motivation and teamwork learned in sports to the ingredients for success in the  world of business. His decision paid dividends, as he quickly formed KA Beall, Inc., a real estate cooperative, and served as part owner and VP for Acquisitions with Seven Figures, Inc. He also achieved status as managing member of prestigious DZieL LLC, a petroleum resale operative.  As the Director of Publicity for EQ Labs, he has been very effective at developing a comprehensive outreach program that is enabling the company to realize its brand management objectives at all levels. Keith continues to assist making EQ Smart Energy Drink® not just relevant, but a perennial trend-setter in modern culture. “I absolutely love my job; where else can you build relationships while having so much fun? Darryl Brown - Director of Warehouse Operations

Darryl originally hails from Minneapolis MN, where he attended North Community High School and was a four-year varsity basketball letter winner.  He is a proud father of four.  Darryl oversees the training and supervision of line workers and is responsible for daily operation of the warehouse. In addition, he shores up hiring and management duties of production staff that prepares shipments for distribution and quality control. He has also completed critical administrative duties for the company and continues to assist in that area. Darryl works diligently to ascertain that all shipments are dispatched and accounted for through the company's electronic data inventory system. 

Reginald M. LaFrance

Known as Reggie by colleagues…is a former NCAA Division 1-A football player- turned Emmy Award winning producer. He directed MTV's highest rated reality show "The Real World" (Las Vegas I & II), and has been producing and directing award winning documentary films for more than 20 years. His creative talents have earned him an Emmy, Telley, Edward R. Murrow and several other awards while working with A&E's prestigious series, “Biography” to emotionally charged docudramas for PBS, Showtime, Viacom and more. Growing up in Los Angeles, Reggie decided to further his education at the University of Nevada Las Vegas where he studied film. He is most influenced by director John Carpenter, and his favorite film is "The Fog". Reggie continues to develop and produce multimedia materials to support the marketing and advertising goals of the company.

Joshua Segal – Manager of Publicity, Promotions and Event Coordination

Originally from Woodland, CA, Joshua attended California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA while receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Crop Science and a minor in Agricultural Business.  A member of tradition-rich Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, Joshua displayed a knack for management by holding several officer positions including Vice President and Event Coordinator. Following college, he relocated to Las Vegas where he earned a broker/salesperson license and achieved a partnership with North American Realty of Nevada. Joshua parlayed his partnership into relationships which landed him among those affiliated in the commodity trading industry.  He also displayed the fortitude to understand a good thing when it presented itself, as Joshua hit the ground running when offered his position at EQ Labs. Segal’s opinion of working for EQ Labs: “I didn’t expect to be given this opportunity.
